Chiefs Radio Network
KCFX or 101 The Fox has been the flagship radio station of the Kansas City Chiefs since 1991. The station started its play by play broadcast of the Chiefs games since 1989 and has then earned the moniker The Chiefs Radio Network.
The on-air team is composed of Mitch Holthus who provides the play by play, Super Bowl IV MVP Len Dawson who is the color analyst, Bob Gretz who gives updates from the sidelines, and veteran Chiefs broadcaster Bill Grigsby who recalls memories of past games and gives an informed take on game days.
The Chiefs Radio Network is heard throughout the six-state region of Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Arkansas with 61 affiliate stations. Its broadcast rights extends up to the 2009 season. The radio station also streams its broadcast online 24/7 so Chiefs fans can still catch the game while surfing the internet.
